Voice and Narrative Poetry Writing Series - starts this week

plus, want to develop a writing ritual?

Hello,

I have a couple classes starting up this week! It's not too late to join the Voice and Narrative series (I'm aware this workshop needs a better name... it's really such a wonderful exploration of voice). First class is this Wednesday at 6:15pm PST (online).

My Develop a Writing Ritual weekly, drop-in classes are starting back up after a brief break (first class back is today at 5:30pm PST). Whether you’d like to write a book, move through writer’s block, explore your relationship to creativity, or set up a regular journalling practice: these sessions are here to support you. After each session you’ll be invited to reflect on your approach to creative writing. First session is free.

Each drop-in session includes a freewriting topic to get your pen moving. Our theme for Feb/March is: exploring your relationship to focus and distraction.

Here's some more info on what's coming up:

Starting this week:

Voice and Narrative: 6-Week Poetry Writing Series | STARTS Feb 8th at 6:15pm PST (Online)

Reflect on how you've used your voice throughout your life and then turn your stories into poetry. A large focus of this series is conversation and reflection. Your curiosity will truly guide where we go.

Oh! One more thing: there's room for dreaming here. You might decide to use this series to envision new ways of experiencing your voice's sound, power, and resonance.

The relationship we each have to our voice is such a beautiful topic for reflection. Questions about this series? Email [email protected]

Coming up very soon:

All workshops are hosted online.

1. Develop a Writing Ritual -- every Monday at 5:30pm PST and/or Wednesday at 1:30pm PST. First class is free.

2. Finding Authenticity -- STARTS February 27th at 1pm PST. 6 participants max.

As always, thank you for all your support.

Warmly, Christine Bissonnette
